The luggage valet is a fantastic service as far as I'm concerned. We didn't have to pay for it as we were in a GS but when we sail in a JS I am more than willing to pay for it. I do hope they send it fleetwide.

Just returned from a b2b on Legend and the concierge was Casper Schul, Diego is on vacation. We'd heard good reports about Diego but Casper was excellent - he was so helpful and very pleasant.

Andrea Levitt is scheduled to go on vacation from Jewel OTS after the transatlantic crossing (April) and return in June. She said that it was okay to report this but to let everybody know that these things are always subject to change.

As of last Thanksgiving, the Concierge on Mariner was Mitzi. IMO she's AWFUL!! She was rude and seemed to not be a good fit as a concierge. Her customer service skills left much to be desired. We're on Serenade this Thanksgiving and I'm hoping we have a much better experience.

I totally agree with you. I have never had a concierge be as rude as she was. I know she went on vacation and I hope that when she returns, she won't be a concierge. We are going again in October, just like last year and I do hope it will be someone nicer.

Maritza is a fabulous concierge. She was our concierge on our Aug. 2006 Alaska cruise and we had all kinds of issues that she fixed for us -- always with a gracious smile.

Our Diamond Concierge on FOS was Carmeliza Colina. She ran the lounge in a very professional manner. The hors d'oeuvres were hot and plentiful and the breakfast food was very well stocked. She also helped me get a spa appointment when many slots were booked and was a big help when another guest spilled a drink on my husband. Carmeliza and our Diamond Club Waiter, Melvin Gomez, always knew our drink preferences. Both of them were very friendly.

We were only eligible for the D/D+ lounge but DH loved the views and did not like the fact that the CL was inside, when we sailed on Mariner (we did not read our information carefully enough about the overflow CL in the Viking Crown Area).

I am so glad to know that Mitzi is no longer on the Mariner. I had wanted to sail one more time on her before she leaves for LA, BUT I was really not looking forward to seeing Mitzi again.......what a completely inept and impersonable concierge. Thanks for the update.

LEGEND of the Seas is Diego Tripaldi...he's wonderful! Can't wait to sail with him again next May! He and Maritza on the Serenade have to be the top two IMHO...:)
