1cruiselvr Posted August 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I am not familiar with the Island Princess and we have an AB minisuite Guarantee booked for Hawaii. DH says these balconies are totally uncovered and exposed so he is not happy. Is this true? How are the AB minis on the Island? Any problems we should be aware of? Thanks in advance. 1cruiselvr Posted August 24, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 24, 2004 Thanks for the offer but DH wants to cancel NOW unless I can convince him otherwise about the AB balconies. Happy Sailing!
johnmik1 Posted August 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2004 The AB's under the bumpouts are covered. We had D335 for 15 days last year amd being uncovered was no problem. We enjoy a cocktail with our neighbors.
cruiserdru Posted August 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2004 D311-417 are uncovered D503-529 are uncovered C205-231 are covered C705-728 are covered So, on a guarantee, you will not know until you get a room assignment.

We are still deciding since we are not familiar with the Island Princess and are wondering if it's the ship for us. Happy Sailing!
