one of the hardest ones for me to get was from this ship, not sure how many models of this ship are around or not or if very rare and hard to find? but this one is my fave out of my personal collection, and I still have the original box too because of it's scarcity.

I have 14 resin models from the ships we have been on.  Now I am moving and downsizing and the collection is going to have to go.  3 of the ships are not around any more, Carnival Holiday, Holland Statendam and Regal Princess.  Hope to find someone who would like to buy these.  shintz25 at gmail dot com

After seeing this thread a few months ago, prior to my last cruise, I've decided to start a "fleet" collection. So on the last cruise I bought a model, which was the NCL Sky and on my next cruise, NCL Breakaway, I plan on buying a model of that ship as well. I'll just need to find Disney Dream & Carnival Dream models since I've been on those previously.

Jenna would love to but these are the ships I have worked on or sailed on so parting with my collection would be a sad day. 18 years of my life in these

I'm late to the game in deciding to have small models of the cruise ships I've been on. Therefore, I can't find models for most of the ships. Does anybody know where I can get the smaller models (8" - 10"/20.32 - 25.4 cm) for the following ships?

Carnival Triumph
Carnival Holiday
Carnival Fantasy
Norwegian Sky

MSC Musica

Thanks

Does anyone else enjoy building ship models as well as collecting them? As we wait for cruises to resume, I've taken it up. I built that attached model to represent a Blue Funnel Lines steamship. I used the Lindberg "Q-Ship" model kit as the basis.

Hi,

Brand new member here. Hopefully some expert on this board can pass along some info for me. Recently I inherited a model ship for a long-defunct travel agency. It is in nice condition, with a couple of issues ( missing piece from bottom of plexiglass cover, repaired front masts/posts). Here is what I know:

It is an 18" resin model of the TSS Mardi Gras from Carnival Cruise lines. Display model for travel industry.

Here is what I don't know:

How old it is. How much it's worth. Who made it.

If anyone as any info to pass along I would really appreciate it!

   Thanks!

Welcome to CC!

TSS Mardi Gras served Carnival Cruise Lines from 1972-1993.  The model would have been produced sometime during that time frame.  My guess would be earlier than later during those years.  Who made it?  No idea and am not sure how one would find out.

Worth?  A dealer in ocean liner memorabilia might be able to help you with that question.  A reputable dealer with whom I have done business is Nautiques.net.

I hope this small bit of information will be of some help for you.
