magen16 Posted August 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2004 I was told there was happy hour on the ships. If this is true what are the prices during that time?
pungo3 Posted August 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Sorry, I've never found reduced prices at Happy Hour. Maybe I didn't look in the right bar but.......no luck for me. I hope someone else will give you better information.:)

DebBrown Posted August 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Every hour on a cruise is a happy hour!:) I was thinking the same thing! I do know they have Bloody Mary's at a discounted price in the mornings.
bombero Posted August 26, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2004 I've never seen one either, but I really wish they'd start one, even as a trial run.. :). I think a happy hour form 5:00-7:00 with all drinks at 30-40% off would be a big hit with the passengers and due to the increased purchases, I think the ship would make just as much, if not more... :). Another idea is to sell tokens or tickets at about 25% off, prior to cruising, when you purchase your tickets. These could be used at certain times during the cruise.. What do you think?, works for me... :D :D :D ..Bombero
VentureMan_2000 Posted August 26, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2004 A friend just came off a Princess cruise and said they had drink specials. One was a 2-for-1 drink special. Since only he wanted one, they gave him a double, which he described as a 32 oz drink. So, sounds like they do have an equivelant.
Zeta3 Posted August 26, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 26, 2004 I seem to recall having a happy hour with drink specials on one of our past Carnival Cruises, maybe at the casino bar? Of course I also recall the free rum swizzle parties, when the drink o' the day "glasses" were actually glass, when the asst. waiter used a crumb snatcher every time he removed a place setting oh and my favorite, the 25 cent roulette machine! So who knows when that may have actually been.
