Info not always correct!

I'm freaking out here wondering how this happened and would like for it to be corrected. I don't want to give someone a bad rap, especially when I've never even heard of them, let alone never used them! I'd like to know if anyone else has had this happen to them?

The hotel we are using for our upcoming cruise suggested using Laura's shuttle service. I've never heard anything about Laura's so I did a search on here. What I found dumbfounded me!!! I had posted last year about a problem we had with the shuttle we used. It WAS NOT Laura's (Like I said, I didn't even know about Laura's until this morning) but the name of the service I'd written about (the one we'd used) was gone and the name "Laura's" had replaced it.

So to set the record straight and not have someone not use them because of this... I did not post a negative review on Laura's. Infact, I would like to hear from some of you who have used her service. That was my original intent!

I have read your post and don't know if I'm reading it correctly - are you saying that somehow someone has edited your post and changed the name of the service you wrote about? :confused:

Yes, that's what I'm saying. It freaked me out. I'd never heard of Laura's until this morning and that is not the name of the service I put in! I don't know what happened! Or how it could have.

Can you post a link to your old thread? Maybe someone will remember it and we can solve get some evidence to solve this mystery!

Here is another one I found. I know I didn't put in the name Laura's. I even refer to "him" and the one I put in was a him (Art's to be precise). I don't know what is going on, but it scares me to think someone can do this.

When you follow the link, the post starts with a complaint about Larry's, but if you scroll down, to find the OP of this thread, then you'll see that her post states not to use Laura's shuttle.

Just email the moderator of the board and see how it could be that someone could use your screen name to edit or post in your name.

Could it be that in the last year Larry had a sex change and is now going around editing posts to reflect his new name - Laura?:D

 

Just kidding I know this is serious. I certainly would not want any of my posts edited by someone else without my say so.

i would just ask the moderator to delete your post and repost what you intended to say and let them know what happened
