Have put a hold on rooms 7077 and 7581 can anyone tell me if these are in the new part of the ship after she was stretched. Thanks for any info.

I was just in 7586 and it was not in the new section. If you do a search, someone in July listed the exact room numers. 7581 may be close.

From what I've read there is no difference in the rooms. We were aboard 3 weeks ago in a room not in the "new" section and it was wonderful. Hope this helps.

I read in an earlier post that the new cabins on deck 7 are 7568-7582, and 7068-7082, so if this info was correct, you are in luck.

Any idea which cabins are new on deck 8?

To figure out which cabins are new on the other decks, simply change the first digit in the room number to correspond with the deck number, e.g. 8568-8582 and 8068-8082.

I think when they stretched the ship...they added the D1 Superior Oceanview w/ balcony rooms on Deck 8. The insides would be rooms 8081, 8077, 8073, 8581, 8577, 8573. If this is incorrect, someone chime in here.

This may be a silly question, but does it matter which cabins are in the new section or not? Don't flame me, I'm just curious.

Well to me, it didn't really matter that much, however, I was booking a midship cabin anyway, so if I had a choice, I'd rather have a new cabin. I had read in the reviews that the older ones were starting to look their age. Had I not been able to book a new cabin, I would of course still booked an older one.

I was just curious I did not know prior to holding cabins on the Enchantment that it had been stretched. Unfortunately my sister in-law found the information and is in our party and is a little worried about her safety.

I think she believes it is held together with waterproof glue. Have told her we are possibly in the newer section and worried her even more. OH WEll.

Just tell her that all ships are put together in sections. If Enchantments new sections are going to fall apart, all ships will fall apart. Had they built it that way originally, it would have been built the same way. She's a funny SIL.

We just got off the Enchantment, and we were in cabin 7082 and it was in the new section. The shower had a glass door instead of the shower curtain.
