uptheboro Posted September 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Does anyone know what is the earliest time for boarding the Brilliance in Barcelona ? What time should we arrive at the port? The ship sails at 7pm. I have nightmare memories of standing in line for 3.5 hours at Miami waiting to board the Navigator when we used RCI transportation. This time we are doing our own travel, and want to get on the ship as soon as possible. Thanks.
cb at sea Posted September 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2007 I can't answer specifically for Barcelona, but if you're docs say to board at 2pm, you can generally begin boarding at least 2 hours prior to that. In Miami, they always tell you to wait until 2, but those in the know never wait that long!!! Egad--the lines!!!!!! As soon as the ship is empty of departing guests, they will begin boarding the new batch.
kennethcy Posted September 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2007 There are no lines to board the ship in Barcelona. We took this cruise during the first two weeks of August. Noon is a nice time to board. You can have lunch and never be hungry again
GMoney Posted September 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2007 I arrived around 1130 in June and the place was empty. I walked right up, checked in, and boarded the ship in about 5 minutes.
