Craps in Casino?

Stick to the pass line with maximum odds, and the come bets with maximum odds. Always have the odds working, even on the come-out roll.

The don't pass and don't come bets are also good bets, but most of the excitement comes betting with the dice.

Carnival allows double odds maximum. Better than RCCL which allows single odds. NCL allows 3-4-5 times odds.

Avoid the hardways, field, and all bets in the middle of the table.

As with any gambling, buy a book if you don't know what you are doing; learn the odds and what the best bets are.

Don't rely on advice of most of the players, as they don't know what they are doing either.

O.K. Big Duck I wish you were going with me 12/8/07. here's the thing. I went to the casino in Tunica last night. I had $15.00 big spender. that was loose I had more. AnywayI stood next to a guy and watched and he was telling me how to play by treading softly. ..so I put $5.00 on the I think pass line know where it is don't know what it is called. Then after the point (?) He had me put money behind it... But sometime I put $5.00 and other times I put $6.00 behind it... How do you know weather it is 5 or 6 I forgot. Oh by the way I won $175.00 on my $15.00. So what's the scoop. A couple of times I would put on the 6 or 8 too which ever number was hitting. Can i get a book somewhere///....do the cruise ships give lessons in the mornings? Oh I put a 50 cent bet on the nicle slots and won $260.00. Best thing was free drinks while playing I know they don't do that on the ships. I guess the guy like me cause I got 2 free dinners and 4 free breakfast. It was cousins night all girls had a blast hope it's fun on the ship Anyway thanks for what ever help you can give me if you get back to reading this.

LOL, yes it can be quite confusing, sometimes I don't get it right.

Odds on passline (and come) bets for 9 or 5 need to be even amounts so that the payout is in partial dollars (which the casino keeps). It is the same sort of thing with place bets on 6 and 8, a $6 dollar bet is better then a $5 dollar bet because it returns an even dollar amount ($7).

May be a dumb question, but everything I've read says there are lots of things in the Casino, but nothing mentions craps. Are there craps tables in the casino?

Unfortunitly, yes they do:D I'll have to try the only playing when going North theory...maybe that's what I was doing wrong. My wallet never forgave me for that night:D
