In all of the hype of PD's maiden voyage, we have forgotten about one of our Veteran cruisers, qld cruiser (Lorraine). ;)

Hi everyone ....Thank you, I WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME...I always do.

this cruise came out of the blue....today 11.45am.

an offer I could not refuse.....

I haven't even looked where I'm going yet...just the start and end..LOL.

just finished booking all my flights home from Auckland, hotel, insurance etc.

My last cruise on the Star was a slow boat ride.....very slow.. toooo slow.

but I like the layout of the ship except for the dining room(can't have everything ) and both D.H and I did enjoy ourselves.

 

leaving here 6.am Saturday for Brisbane , cruise, staying at Rendezvous Auckland for a night then home..

How exciting for you Lorraine! When did you last sail on the Star? We only decided this week to do the Fiji & Tonga cruise in a month's time, but it wasn't as spontaneous as your decision by the sound of it.

Hi aussie57, we cruised on Star last July. have done the cruise you are doing.

I liked Vava'u the best....get out of town....lovely.

keep your eye on what is happening in Fiji, ship may have to change ports if it gets worse.

Enjoy Pacific Star, Lorraine. Get your monies worth, wine, dine and dance, 24/7. Fiji (Suva) was quite peaceful when I was there on Regal Princess around 23 of Sept, should still be OK I reckon, but always volatile.
