Pricing for 2009

We're looking at Explorer, or any other ship sailing from NY/NJ in 2009. Right now pricing is available only until April, 2009 for the Explorer. Does anyone know when pricing will be available for the rest of 2009? Thanks.

I'm also looking for the spring of 2009 (not necessarily RCI though) and have been told not to expect anything until April 2008. It's tough waiting isn't it? :cool:

April sounds about right for next summer. If you plan on booking, grab a cabin right away and hope for a price drop but dont count on it. Prices on the Explorer seem to go up and up over the summer, not down.

It depends on what month you are looking for. The usually release them in 3 month blocks, 18 -21 months prior to sailing.

We are currently booked on Explorer for 10/23/2008. Our friends, who are also booked on this cruise, just got back from Explorer and experienced TS Noel. Since October is hurricane season and rainy season in the Caribbean, they suggested we put our cruise off until April/May 2009. (I agree, we were in Riviera Maya early October, and it rained every day). If we book as soon as the rates become available, our price will probably be less than what we are currently paying for October, 2008. October seems to be very popular and the price keeps going up...it has gone up $100.00/person in the last 3 weeks. I also emailed RCCL regarding 2009 pricing, but I have not yet received a response.

If past years hold true, RCCL will release their list of itineraries through April 2010 in the middle of March 2008 and start opening them up for booking in April 2008.
