Where do cruises stay when theres a hurricane?

I was on the Explorer last week and we just hung out between Cuba and the keys for the extra day waiting for Frances to pass. It was really cool at night because you could see all the other ships lit up. When I went out on deck, I counted 9 other ships just hanging out. It was almost like a game trying to figure out what ships they were.

We were on the Navigator last week, we were kept out at sea between Cuba and the hurricane.

I agree Dad and son team....so many ships out there it almost looked like a parking lot at night! It was very cool. If Ivan wasn't a threat we would still be on board:(

It was great. We were on the Mariner and had 2 extra days at sea. Captain did a spectacular job of keeping us updated, and safe! Just cruised around in the Gulf and in the Straight.
