obsessionr Posted November 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Has anybody done the Murder Mystery Dinner on the Pearl? I understand they do not take many people, and would like to find out how soon do we have to sign up and where. Thanks for any advice.
soccerref Posted November 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2007 We did the Murder Mystery on the Pearl Alaska Cruise. • There is no cost. • The booking information was on the 'Freestyle Daily' which we were given when we boarded. We had to be at the Bliss lounge at 4:30p.m. We got there at 4:00 and were first in the queue but the line filled up pretty quickly after that. • There are 84 places I believe. The lady put our names on the list and gave us a piece of paper telling us to meet in the piano lounge at 5:30 (I think) on the day. • The event was held on a sea day. • When we arrived at the lounge we were put into groups of 6 and given our scripts (some people didn't turn up so the last couple to arrive didn't get to participate!) . • The event leader then explained what happens and suggested some ways to play the game. • We were then taken to the Summer Palace Restaurant and seated with the rest of our group. • From then on it was up to us to play the game. • We spread ours out and did a scene between each course. We were lucky that our group joined in wholeheartedly. We had played before but the other couples hadn't. I'm glad we knew a bit about the method or we might have found it a bit tricky. • We left the restaurant when we had finished. It was a great way to meet new people and we had 2 hours of great fun. I hope this helps. Have a great cruise - we loved the Pearl. Regards SR

odblnt Posted November 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2007 And it's a great way to meet folks that you might run into during the rest of your cruise.
