Joby Posted September 11, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted September 11, 2004 Hi gtaylor, yes, I did get the note. Thanks. Do you have any suggestions, specific places that we may enjoy? A little background here-- my sister, Mom (75 yr. old) and I will be with "Joyce" from 9 AM-2 PM in mid October (thanks for that tip!). Our Mom uses a wheelchair/cane to get around. Ship docks from 8 AM- 3:30 PM. 1. We want to tour the island, 2. shop for an hour or so on each side, 3. go to a great beach (I want to snorkel/swim, sister wants to sunbathe, Mom just wants to relax, "nib" and stay out of the sun but still enjoy the beach scene. We are looking for some nontouristy places. We don't want to be in the hordes of ship people. We enjoy unique memorable places/things. We are shopping for: perfume, t-shirts, handmade local folk art, possibly some inexpensive unique jewelry (under $50), inexpensive local art. Open to suggestions, opinions? Thanks! gtaylor Posted September 12, 2004 #14 Share Posted September 12, 2004 Your map is all packaged up and ready to go. Monday! Hey, small world. At 4:15 on the afternoon of this past May 26th we passed within 76.5 yards of your home! We were headed to visit friends about 24.8 miles East of you, Remember how hard it was raining? Enjoy the map. Gary p.s. my friend works for a large chocolate manufacturer there.

pamkev Posted September 12, 2004 #19 Share Posted September 12, 2004 Never heard of that place going to have to check it out! We also have another candy factory in Lititiz called Wilburs. Pam
gtaylor Posted September 13, 2004 #20 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Linette does only limited production of retail chocolates. Their primary products are items that are 'store branded'. Things like the peanut butter cups that sell at WalMart and lots of other chains under their own label. The peanut butter cups are my favorite, and they beat the socks off of Reeses'. If you have other questions (welcomed) let's take this to e-mail instead of tying up the cruise board traffic. Gary p.s. Both my wife and I are working on a response to the joint questions. mrrick747 Posted September 13, 2004 #21 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Thats a "hot" map gary! After checking out the link and looking at it, I deceided to purchase it, however, they seem to be all out? Do you know of any other sources for this map? Ive searched tons of map but that seems to be the most concise and tourist friendly. thanks, Ricknlynn
