Zuiederdam Refrigerator?

I have a VC Verandah on the 12/29 Zuiederdam (Less than 1 month WOOHOOO).

 

Are there refrigerators in all the rooms? Do i need to request?

 

If i'm not mistakne when i was on the Zaandam, i got lucky having one in my room as other members of our group didn't.

To my knowledge Vista ships have refrigerators in almost all cabins except for some insides.

S and R class ships do not have refrigerators in all cabins below veranda/ outside categories.

Our "mini-suite" had one; it was the mini bar, and it does not keep items too cool. We simply got additional ice from our steward, and were fine.

This was on the Zuiderdam in an SY

We were in an OV room and we had a fridge which kept things nice and cold.

If you were in a non-verandah cabin and had one, and didn't pay $2/day to rent it, you were indeed "lucky"! :)

 

All cabins on all Vistas have refrigerators (unless it has been removed for repairs :) ) which, because of their design, will only cool items to about 25 degrees below room temperature.

That is good news then, I will plan that I will have one!

 

Yep, I definately got lucky, out of 40 or so of us cruising I was one of the very few who had a fridge, but it was probably because the people on the previous cruise has one. Needless to say I utilized it!
