Slow Foxtrot Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 It seems that the 'Ballroom Dancing' thread has been locked, presumably banished! Was it not politically correct? Did it drift a little? Did 'Happy Scot', 'Slow Foxtrot', 'G.Curry' and all the usual suspects get carried away? With over 20,000 hits, no-one can say it was unpopular - and every thread drifts a little from time to time. Could it be aurevoir from all these dreadful people? I think we should be told. Foxy. Slow Foxtrot Posted January 4, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted January 4, 2008 It is still showing up for me. Doesn't seem to have been removed. Still showing, yes, but there is a lock on the thread that prevents any further posts. Surely this is a case for Inspector Poirot? Foxy
happyscot Posted January 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Machthing - please unlock this thread. It was all in fun. I was told by She Who Must Be Obeyed that this was the tolerated off-topic thread on the Cunard board. It is loved by all, and was a source of enormous enjoyment to a few. There is a regular poster who was quite ill. We'll keep the trans-Atlantic jousting to a minimum. Pretty please? Pretty please with haggis on? My body is yours................ Cruachan Posted January 5, 2008 #11 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Can they do research once it has been pickled? David Well they normally keep the bits in formaldehyde. I would have thought that single-malt would have been a better option :) J

I'm sure he won't have a grouse about that. :) It'll be cheaper too. David

*Mach* Posted January 5, 2008 #15 Share Posted January 5, 2008 So is that what got the thread unlocked:confused: And was it worth it? ;) Trust me, I have no use for HappyScot's body... and no... that's not what drove my decision... ;)
NomDePlume Posted January 5, 2008 #16 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Speaking of decisions--have you chosen which of the Cunard ships you'll sail on first? And what are you doing on January 13th? Would you happen to be in New York, perchance? You could compare them (sort of) side to side ...
