carontori Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Does anyone know what the cost is for a transfer on ncl from the ship in Dover to the airport in London?
goldmom Posted January 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Last year the cost was $80 per person (that's one way to the airport). Don't know if it's been changed. The other thing is that on our cruise last year they also offered a London tour and then a drop-off at the airport for those who had late flights. Although on our voyage they didn't have enough people for the tour and it was cancelled and the people on the tour were given the option to take the NCL transfers. Hope this helps. Enjoy! goldmom Posted January 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Just be sure that you book the transfer well before your cruise if you plan to use the NCL transfer. Someone on our cruise told me that they tried to book the transfer, but it was sold out. Just thought you'd like to know.

IrishKathy Posted January 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Does anyone happen to know if NCL offers a transfer from Dover to a drop off point in central London (perhaps near Victoria Station)? We plan to stay in London for two nights after the transatlantic cruise. Obviously we do not want the Dover to airport transfer but don't know if they offer anything else. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Kathy
colmil Posted January 4, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I am English, can't help about the transfer to central London, but if there isn't one available, you could catch a direct train to Victoria Station, no changing, it will only be a short taxi ride from the port to the station, the train takes about 1 hour 45 minutes and costs £17 'cheap day single' per person. You can easily take a taxi from Victoria to your hotel! Happy cruising! Regards from England. Colmil.
