I just booked a hotel - Courtyard Marriott - Federal Highway, for my precruise stay 1-12-2008. Since I have never been to florida, can someone please advise on the cost of a taxi to the hotel and then taxi to port Everglades would be? I am wondering if it would be cheaper to rent a car? 2 adults, 2 children.. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

It would definitely be cheaper, and you could then go anywhere you wanted. See the big car rental thread for some tips.

But now that I return, I want to get a rental car again, I want to use priceline, so what city do I put in for the "pick-up" city? It is not letting me put in Port Everglades, also, does anyone know if the car rental places near the port would offer shuttle to FLL airport when I return the car?
