Best Western-Convention Centre, Long Beach

Hello,

For some time now I have been researching hotels in Long Beach for our departure in October on Serenade. We have set aside 4 days to settle in, see some of the L.B. area and maybe a organised tour of L.A.

On day of sailing I am aware we will have to get to San Pedro by Taxi.

I have looked at various hotels, namely Hyatt. Renaissance, Coast,Westin and then Best Western at the Convention Centre. The higher end hotels are a little too expensive. At the end of the day I would prefer to spend the money on better resturants and sightseeing. The Coast looked good but the Best Western(Covention Centre) gets excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and good pricing too.I know it will be a bit more basic.

Any comments,

Thank You,

Iain

No comments on the hotel but four days is more than enough time to see Long Beach. With that amount of time you could go over to Catalina for the day, take the train along the coast to San Diego or Santa Barbara, Disneyland or other amusement parks.
