Scuba Diving in Grand Cayman

Has anyone gone on the Certified Two Tank Dive Carnival offers in Grand Cayman? I am going on the Victory there in a couple of weeks and was wondering what people thought of it.

How about anyone that dove without Carnival (booked own charter, found another dive company, went on their own)?

Any reviews or hints would be helpful

Thanks in advance.

....in choosing which dive excursion you take I would keep in mid all the trouble the cruise lines have been having tendering at Grand Cayman!

The latest news on the five hour delays in tender boats is not a new phenomenon....Grand Cayman has had this problem forever. It's the nature of the shallow water around the island.

Soooo....take a Carnival diving excursion if only to guaratee you don't have any problems getting back to the ship should weather blow up while you are on shore...or in your case....under the water!

Just a thought....have a great cruise!!

Welcome to Cruise Critic. Since you are new this might help. At the bottom of this page n the right hand side is a space called "Forum Jump".....Click on it and go down til you see "Special interest cruising".....then under that is "Scuba and snorkeling". Your question will probably be better answered there because alot of divers post there..........
