ATMs on Princess Boats?

Hey everyone, dumb question but I was just wondering if there are ATMs to get out cash on the boat? I'm sure we could just get it at the piers, and I do plan to take some with me

Why pay an ATM fee when you can take Traveler Checks and cash them in the Pursers Desk when you need the money?

You can exchange money on Princess cruises. However, I don't think there are "bank ATMs". Cruise ships usually give you poor exchange rates, but it's more convenient because you may not find any ATMs near the ports. You usually need to go to the city centers to find ATMs.

 

Since you are going to the Caribbean, there is no need to exchange currencies. US dollars are widely accepted. Please note that ATM only gives you "local" currencies.

In Crown Princess there was an ATM machine at the casino, I withdrew money there without problems.

I heard somewhere that there was a $5.50 charge- not great if you can bring travelers checks or just some cash on your own, but in a pinch- did you receive around that charge for taking out cash on the boat? thanks
