Can we drop off our bags early at Port Everglades?

We are arriving at 9:30 am (Sunday) at FLL if we take a taxi to the port, can we drop off our bags and go back out and do some shopping? If not will they even let us into the port so early and if so is there a lounge or something there? P.S. what time do the stores open on Sunday, I know we won't be able to buy wine before noon.

Due to lack of storage and security concerns at the port I doubt that you would be able to drop off your bags.

Your flight arrives at 9:30am, that means you'll be out of the airport by 10am and at Port Everglades by 10:15-10:30am. That's not early. You can certainly drop off your bags with the porters and leave the port to do some shopping or you can stay in the terminal waiting area. Most cruiselines start boarding after 11am.

Stores open on Sunday in Ft Lauderdale the same time as the rest of the week, 8am, 9am, 10am....
