For a Good Laugh

Ashore, people are making clay models of the Dream and sticking sharp needles into them. Rumors that Montevideo is running out of food and that citizens are raiding the grain silos prove false.

Every paragraph is filled with such wit ... I just hope I remember this story the next time something isn't quite the way I expected it would be on a cruise.

Thanks, makeyourself, for bringing it to our attention!

OMG! Ok, let me wipe the tears of laughter away. This was very, very enjoyable. What a hoot! Good job, SailorJack.

Thanks for pointing this out, makeyourself. I'm going to share this with friends that are planning cruises.:D

I had an uncle that could write like that...... It was really enjoyable.... it really sounds like he was making lemonade from lemons. ;)

I particularily like the line

"So there we sat. A free open bar, lights ablaze, and the band playing on while we noted that our ship now held the record for the most Japanese tonnage sunk since 1945.

Oh my GOD! Just think if they could've put that picture with sailor Jack's review! I just started a laughing fit again! Thanks for the great pictures I think this quote needs to be reposted: "So there we sat. A free open bar, lights ablaze, and the band playing on while we noted that our ship now held the record for the most Japanese tonnage sunk since 1945.
