Is there any way that you can go to the Carnival website and see how much the military rate is or is there a code you use to book the military rate? Thanks for any help.:)

No, you have to call a Carnival PVP or a TA.

there are several internet travel sites you can go to and put in info for military rate, 55+ rate and residence discount. We live in WA and received an residence discount on our upcoming cruise out of FL.

I'm not sure of that one....I'm going to guess & say YES. After you check out the site give Carnival a call to find out....Just ask...What is the Military rate today?

I check ***** dot com and cruise dot com...usually the same price that Carnival will give, but for my most recent booking, Carnival had a little lower rate. I always check the websites then book directly with Carnival (much easier and faster to make changes and take advantage of price drops & cabin upgrade offers when you can call directly rather than going through a second party).

Have you heard of a site called Interliner? They cater exclusively to airline employees and military and offer fantastic rates for cruises and all-inclusive resorts. The only catch is that the military member has to be on the cruise--since our cruise on the Liberty is girls' only, I couldn't get the military rate but they did give my mom a great senior rate on a balcony room. Very nice & pleasant to deal with, they send out a weekly newsletter of great deals. www.interliner.com
