Mariner or Liberty

We are in our 40s and no kids traveling with us. (We will not be using the water wave thing.) Are there other advantages of the Liberty or Freedom over the Mariner?

liberty is newer and larger- from what i have read that is about it- if the price is similiar i would do liberty- if not, the mariner is a wonderful shp with many bells and whistles- can't go wrong either way:D

i've been on both of them and love them both. if you don't have kids with you, i think the mariner is as good as liberty. the only thing that i like better about the liberty is all of the pools are fresh water instead of salt water. as far as amenities go, the liberty has the flow rider, a couple of extra shops and the big jacuzzis that hang over the side (which are really nice), other than that, they are very similar.

 

i would probably just base the decision on price of the cruise and price of your flight to either port because you will love both ships!
