didan Posted March 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2008 My SIL has been after us to join them on a cruise to Bermuda on the Dream. I started looking into the week they are leaving and there are only outside or inside cabins left. We will be traveling with our 14 year old foster son. Does anyone know if the CC cabins have a curtain inbetween the beds the sofa? Just looking for a little more privacy for him. Does anyone know if there are particular cabins that may be a little larger? Thanks so much!
electricron Posted March 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Yes, they should. Even class C cabins had curtains between the bed and sofa areas. The Dream has best Oceanview cabins in NCL's fleet.
didan Posted March 13, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Thanks so much, Electricron. And thanks for the picture. It was very hard to tell on the NCL site.
Family of 4 Cruising Posted March 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Yes, they should. Even class C cabins had curtains between the bed and sofa areas. I have a quick question for you....there are 4 of us (adults) in an ocean view cabin, would they have pull down beds as well as the two twins? There aren't any that I can see in your picture. I can't picture us squeezing into two twins, LOL. Thanks in advance!
didan Posted March 14, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted March 14, 2008 Family of Four, I've never been on this ship before, but from what I've seen on most boats, the extra bed is a pull-out couch. Not sure if anyone else has better information....
willydoit Posted March 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2008 There in fact is a "pull down" bed that drops from the ceiling in cabins marked for 4. My daughter had it a few years back and didn't complain too much about it. Does make a night light necessary,,,kinda of a long 1st step!!
JPV072900 Posted March 14, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2008 Thanks so much, Electricron. And thanks for the picture. It was very hard to tell on the NCL site. NCL has some good pictures on their site: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb//pressroom/imageLibraryDetail.html?groupId=Dream

didan Posted March 14, 2008 Author #9 Share Posted March 14, 2008 Thanks JPV - I know see a track on the ceiling that looks like it's for a curtain. Love - good info - thanks.
Diana68 Posted March 15, 2008 #10 Share Posted March 15, 2008 The couch is the second double bed. I haven't seen a pull down bed on the Dream.
