CEWayfarer Posted September 4, 2008 #101 Share Posted September 4, 2008 Who does he look like? He looks mostly like a generic 'rock guy', but when his hair was 'bigger', he looked a lot like Paul Rodgers from Queen or a much taller Gino Vanelli. His hair is still longish, but it isn't as big. KatSt Posted September 4, 2008 #102 Share Posted September 4, 2008 we were told stevie wonder was on the miracle with us the week before christmas this year and he sang but some smart alec posted that it wasn't him and she said he is on every ship. i don't know. it sure did look like him to me. she was on the cruise with us but did not go to that show. was it him? i think so. anyone else had stevie sightings? smiles, bee There's a performer that does a Motown show (I don't remember his name) and at the end he comes out as Stevie Wonder. He did the same thing in June when we were on the Miracle. He does look like him, but it's not really him.

MyImagination Posted February 20, 2009 #105 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Noticed someone asked a similar question, so moved this thread up. In all my cruses, I have yet to sail with anyone that I recognized as a celebrity.
Nezmo Posted February 20, 2009 #106 Share Posted February 20, 2009 My '95 NCL Norway cruise was an NBA themed cruise. Met loads of NBA players... many of whom were quite rude btw. I think they must have been fulfilling some contract obligation they hated.

chachi Posted June 18, 2009 #108 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I saw all of the New Kids on the Block on the Imagination, of course it was a New Kids on the Block cruise! They were very personable and hung out like any other passanger (went to the muster drill, casino, hot tub, buffet, the main dining room, etc...) they were everywhere! HMC RET Posted June 18, 2009 #109 Share Posted June 18, 2009 2 years ago on the Triumph, Andre 3000 from the music group OutKast was on our cruise with his family. Real nice guy and his kids and my DD hung out a little on the ship. Also on the flight down to Miami, Lou Holtz (former college football coach) was on our plane. WISH84 Posted June 18, 2009 #114 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Was a company outing and they hired Bill Cosby to entertain. They flew him in on a helicopter to Nassau and he boarded the ship before we left. When he was done (basically the same skit as his "Himself" show) the ship slowed a bit, a helicopter picked him up and took him away. This was right at the time his son, Enis, had been shot. A little bit of sadness mixed with the comedy. He was great that night.
The Wolverine Posted June 18, 2009 #115 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Rusty Wallace a couple of years ago. I'm not a Nascar fan, but I had a couple of drinks with him. pretty cool guy.
DustFSU Posted June 18, 2009 #116 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Some of my buddy's met Jeff Reed, kicker for the Steelers a few years back. Said he was a really nice guy and was buying people drinks. And on my honeymoon cruise on the Mariner of the Seas the guy that played Max on Saved by the Bell Ed Alonzo did a couple stand up stuff...pretty funny. In Airport my dad went to the bathroom next to Chevy Chase in Chicago. In San Antonio saw the Aerosmith band at a Mexican Restaurant taking picture with people, seemed like nice guys. I got to meet the great Bobby Bowden once and Micky Andrews, really nice.
SeaMeSmile Posted June 18, 2009 #117 Share Posted June 18, 2009 While on Catalina Island during our Ensenada cruise a couple of years ago, Ray Romano ("Everybody Loves Raymond") walked past us with his wife and kids. I whispered to my friend, "Hey, that's Ray Romano!" She replied, "No it's not, but it does look like him." Right at that moment, he said something to his wife. Hearing that unmistakable voice removed all doubt, LOL. :p Oh, and after the cruise, while waiting for our flight home at LAX, Danny Trejo (aka, The Bad Guy in dozens of films) walked right past me. That dude is short !!
Nachtswerg Posted June 18, 2009 #118 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I met and hung out with Val Kilmer on our Holiday cruise in 1987. Cool guy. I was a kid and called him Iceman all week. (Top Gun had come out the year before) He ate it up and loved the attention. I've flown with Kilmer a couple of times out of Albuquerque. He's very nice, as long as you don't get in his face with autograph requests. Also used to get flights with Misty May, before she got married, when she flew into Abq to see her future hubby at the Isotopes.
