Carry on luggage?

Hi, we're taking one of the 4 night cruises on the CB, and all I'm taking is one small carry-on suitcase that I want access to before luggage is delivered to the cabins.

 

Do I just roll it on with me rather than handing it over to the porters? That won't be a problem, will it?

No problem at all as long as it will fit through the xray machine like any other carry on.

As long as it fits through the x-ray machine, you can carry it on. If you can take it as a carry on at the airport, you can usually take it on as a carry on for the cruise.

Unless things have changed very recently, cabins on Princess are all available to passengers as soon as they board so you are able to go directly to your cabin, drop off your carry-on stuff, close the door and start exploring.

You might be thinking about RCL - Princess let's you go to your cabin as soon as you get on the ship.
