Weather in January

Can someone please help me! Can someone tell me what the weather is like in the middle of Januay? We are going to the Mexican Rivera on Carnival Pride out of Long Beach 1-18 - 1-25 2009. My husband is concerned that it is going to be cold! Help! Thanks!

It will be cold up on deck your first and last "at sea days" as you cruise the pacific coastline of Baja Califirnia. Once you get close to Cabo the weather should warm up to the mid to high 70's during the daytime. Even warmer still as you cruise to PV & Mazatlan. Ocean water temps in Cabo will be cold (mid to low 60's), so generally to cold for swimming in the ocean in Cabo. It will be much better in Maz & PV. Mid January to mid February is a fantastic time to see the whales in Cabo however.
