Thanks for your help On Cruise Critic, you can only ask people to join your group cruise if it is an official Cruise Critic approved/sponsored group cruise. Perks include better rates and/or extra on-board credit, and obviously the chance to meet some CC people in real life :) To be a group cruise, you need at least 8 cabins. If you set it up and do all the work, then you also get some extra savings. If you're doing a non-CC group cruise, you aren't allowed to ask other members on these boards to join your cruise. You can ask family, friends, neighbors, etc., but you can't get other members from the boards to join. Talk to your TA and see if there would be any discounts.
