vanilla rum punch

I love rum punch in the caribbean. Is the vanilla version one of the "official" drinks of the region? I have only heard of it served at Bloddy Mary's on Bora Bora. Is it available throughout the area? What would be the considered the signature drink of the region. Would it be anything that contains rum? If so that is fine with me!!:D :D :D

go to the juice factory on Mooreau. wait to you taste the drinks there... several of us got 6 packs of the juce--- rum with fruit juices.. yummy

I do not know if they have an official drink,, but they do have MaiTai;s in a can... Go easy, they are very potent......

They offer an amazing vanilla rum punch at Bloody Mary's in Bora Bora. Well worth the trip. If you get there check out both bathrooms.

Do not despair since you can get your vanilla ( or pineapple) rhum at the airport before returning home.

 

Best recipe to cut some fresh pineapple, a couple of scoops of coconut ice cream ( Hagen Dasz has a new coconut ice cream with roasted coconut !!!) and a splash of your freshly bought vanilla liqueur ( or pineapple ) ok a bit of cool whip et voila.

 

Please do not hate me once the bottle is empty

 

Enjoy ( with moderation) listening to a CD of Bobby Holcomb (to be found also at faaa Airport) try to get the album called "Bobby" ... Po-Ri-Ne- Ti-a-aaa so goes the song.
