Hop On/Hop Off

Anyone know if you can purchase a wristband for the hop on/hop off bus on the island and how much it is, or does it have to be purchased through the ship? Thanks.

I was told somewhere here on the boards when I asked that you can only buy them from the cruise.

We tried to buy them at the area and were told it was much higher than on the ship. I had planned on buying them directly because according to the web site you could purchase a family pack for 4 people for $28; but when I tried to buy them I couldn't! I think hiring a taxi for the day would be cheaper than going through the ship. I also hear golf carts are available, but we did not see any to rent when we were there.

Golf carts are definitley the way to go. There was only 4 when we arrived, and we were first, you have to be fast and know where they are located, there is alot in other threads on that. I also agree with arlodog that a taxi would be cheaper than the hop on bus and I think alot more interresting.
