Can anybody tell me if there is live satellite sport in the sports bar / casino on the PD and if there is do they show any AFL or is it just ARL (which I dont mind by the way ) just hoping to catch the West Coast Eagles while on hols. If not I suppose I could get score updates on the internet or even listen to a bit on the net but it would probably cost to much to listen to the whole game . T he wife hopes its not on but its only 3 hours once a week .

Subject to satelite etc they will try and get most big games. We sailed during the AFL finals last year and watched the Collingwood V Sydney and Collingwood V West Coast matches live in the Casablanca Lounge on Pacific Star.

Ive just realised Im going to miss the logies when Im on my cruise!!! :(

I know- Im a sad case, but I always watch it every year

set the video to record and then you can watch the whole show in 30minutes instead of 4 hours after fast forwarding through all the "dribble":p

we got to see the NRL grand final on the big screen in the main theatre on the pacific sun.

Lots of fans just got pizza and enjoyed that while watching. what a great atmosphere.

hope you get your game fix

fair comment dogboy ,but by the time we cruise in july we should be back in top four (ha ha not likley ,but maybe just competitive ) but im a loyal fan even when we are down .A cruise should be a good distraction this season .

The weekend of the 11-13 April on the Sun Princess, we had the Friday night game on the TV in our cabin and also the WCE v Sydney match on the Saturday. It was broadcast on Q Australia channel.

Good to see they bowed to the immense pressure from dissatisfied sport fans.

No Aussie Sport on our SP New Years cruise. Instead of watching Andy Symonds and Harbijhan Singh hating each others guts, we were treated to an extra special, bold type on the Patter, live coverage of the Rose Bowl (American college football).

Oh well, Stacey, you'll just have to stay home and I'll go in your place ;)
