Simru12 Posted April 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Just noticed this morning on the Princess Website effective today: For all new bookings effective April 21, 2008, the Carnival Corporation brands will implement an increased fuel supplement of $7 (USD) per person per day for the first two passengers, and $2 per person per day for third and fourth passengers. The fuel supplements will not exceed $98 per person per voyage for the first and second passengers, and $28 per person per voyage for the third and fourth passengers in a stateroom. For bookings made from November 7, 2007 to April, 20, 2008, the original fuel supplement of $5 per person per day will apply. I also found it a little odd that the announcement first states the details of the Fuel Surcharge Refund, then goes on to say they're raising it for new bookings. I know it wasn't intended this way (or at least I hope it wasn't), but to me it reads that 'Because we're refunding the fuel surcharge to some, we have to increase it for others'. Toto2Kansas Posted April 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Actually, it isn't new, it was announced a couple of weeks ago. But thanks for posting it again for those that didn't see it the first time.
