Toyz711 Posted April 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2008 they will offer salmon, they do on all of the ships. the menu on alaska cruises are the same as on the other ships.. i can give you a link to the old menus, but they are upgrading them and we haven't seen a new menu yet. all the NCL ships use the basic same menus..just change the days they serve them. http://www.webshots.com/search?query=ncl+menus&new=1&source=chromeheader no halibut or crab...only maine lobster in the specialities (for a surcharge) and caribbean lobster in the main dining rooms. normal salmon in the main dining rooms, wait for the new menus...or the salmon in cagney's. Travel Lover Posted April 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2008 I went on the Pearl to Alaska last year. LOVED IT!!!! But I hoped for a lot of crab and such since it was ALaska but no.... I think there is a lobster night of course. I think there may have been some fish each night but I do not really like fish so did not pay attention... emerylynne Posted April 22, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted April 22, 2008 I did write myself a note in my early research that Ketchikan fish market had some good reviews for a seafood restraunt so I could end up with great options in each port.:)

We went to a restaurant in Jeneau. I think the name was The Hanger. I ordered the Alaskan King crab legs and wasn't that impressed. Maybe I was expecting too much being in Alaska. The legs were small. I have had better at the Outback restaurant. If you want a good Lobster on the Star go to the SOHO restaurant. You can pick from live tank. Best one I have had so far. It does cost $25 but where else could you get a lobster for that price.

calenita Posted April 22, 2008 #9 Share Posted April 22, 2008 It seems like there is always a seafood option on the menu in the main dining hall. At least there was on the Caribbean cruise I was on.
