amybear912 Posted May 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2008 No you can't... and we were quite grateful for that... because the pool band when we were on Mariner was just awful... There are sliding doors between the Solarium and Main pool.
maxs mom Posted May 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2008 The solarium is very quiet most of the time. It's a great place to relax and read.

ME Guide Posted May 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2008 We have recently cruised on Mariner and found that the solarium was fairly quiet. We did have several loud talkers in the hottubs that probably were trying to talk over the "bubbly" noise that made sitting in the vicinity uncomfortable. Most often it is someone who may be hard of hearing and yells rather than has conversation level speaking. We do carry earplugs for just these situations. It is also great to have earplugs if you happen to hear hallway talking and are light sleepers. good luck..for the most part, the solarium is a very pleasant place! biomedbob Posted May 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2008 for some reason, cruiselines think louder is better. earplugs are a great accessory. i've even considered wire cutters for the speakers directed straight at us on the outside deck sitting as far from the band as possible. Yes, the conversations in the hottubs are loud. But I think it is about hard to heard people not knowing they are yelling.
