The guy was walking around going mango tango Yummy Yummy. My wife bought the drink and loved it.The only thing is she never asked what was in it.Would it have been rum or ?? We never drink hard stuff only beer so we are not experienced with the carribean drinks. She wants to find out so i can make the drinks at home. Also if it was Rum what is a great Rum to buy to make the nice Carribean style drinks. Thanks thesawch

Cincy-David Posted May 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Here is the recipe that I got from someone..... Mango Tango Recipe 1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan® Parrot Bay mango rum 2 oz Triple Sec 5 oz Pineapple Juice 2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a collins glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with fresh pineapple and cherry on a skewer. Serve. I didn't have one on the cruise, but I have made these for parties and they are delicious. Happy Cruising Dave
MomtoCCC Posted May 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2008 On our first cruise they sold Mango Tangos on the ship around the pool. They were essentially half pina colada and half mango daiquri with Rum poured over it. Captian Morgan's is a good rum but there are plenty of other choices as well. Enjoy!
