Conecting Rooms on Freedom?

Recommended Posts

I have a question for all of you seasoned cruisers. Should I be worried about extra noise or any other issues in a room that has a door connecting to another room?

We want to book Freedom for the carribean in January and the only Jr Suite left on the port side according to our guy on the telephone is one that has a door connecting to the room next to that one.

thanks!!

tried to edit the typo in title but could not :(

I had a connecting cabin once and there was a small amount of sound. I just rolled up a towel and placed it in front of the door and it took care of it. No more sounds. This was on an older ship.

We have had connecting cabins twice. No issues either time. While I would prefer a non-connecting over a connecting, I will choose location over that anytime.

Noisy neighbors can be an issue even in a non-connecting cabin. You can't choose your neighbors. So I wouldn't worry about it.

My main concern with our first connecting cabin was smoking as it was still allowed in cabins at the time. But it wasn't an issue. And now that smoking is no longer allowed in cabins it should be a non-issue.

If the only JS left is connecting and a JS is what you want, I say go for it and enjoy! :)

P.S. To edit the title you have to click on "Go Advance" after clicking on Edit.
