Should I be worried?

I talked to my PVP today and upgraded my cabin. The problem is she called me back and said she misquoted the price by alot!:eek: Now I'm out my original cabin and I'm not going to pay all the extra for the upgrade. What other options if any do I have? Thanks for all your advice.

I think they should honor the price she quoted. I would call back and talk to a supervisor and see if the phone call was recorded. If it was then they would have to honor the price. Problem is....it's easy to say it wasnt. They should honor the price!!!

Did your PVP give you any options other than paying the unquoted additional amount for the upgraded room? I would think, under the circumstances, you should be entitled to the original room at the original price . . . if your PVP cannot authorize that, I would speak to a supervisor.

 

Good luck and just remember you will be laughing about this during your cruise after it's all straightened out! :D

Sounds to me like you need a supervisor too. If they gave away my original cabin that fast, then they need to give you back one just as good or upgrade you at their cost.

 

It is their fault, not yours.

ummm if youre not going to pay the difference then you might as well call back because if you keep waiting the rate is gonna go up and then a supervisor isnt going to be able to honor it for you....
