We are sailing on Celebrity Constellation next May, the first time on Celebrity. Hover we have platinum status on RCI's loyalty program. Does this count towards Celebrity or do we start all over again?

Yes it does count however they do not add the cruises together. You would be the equivalent level on Celebrity. Be forewarned however that Celebrity has pretty much the worse loyalty program of all the major cruise lines.

you will have the equivalent status but that means nothing because Celebrity has few or no perks.
