From Lido-Venice to cruise port

What would be the best way to get from a hotel in the Lido area to the Cruise Port? There would be 6 of us with luggage. I think we will buy the Venice Card but I'm not sure it will provide transportation to the cruise port.

You could take the Vaporetto but with luggage you may want to take a water taxi for the 6 of you.
