sweetlowcountry Posted June 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Hello. My husband and I will be in San Juan on Monday, November 17. We will be in port from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. We want to go to Old San Juan and hang out, walk around and tour the city on foot. And then we would like to have drinks and dinner somewhere... Only problem is I've heard most of the restaurants and bars in Old San Juan are closed Sunday - Tuesday. Is this true? If not, any suggestions on a great meal while in town? This will be our anniversary dinner so it can be nice... Thanks!
rainforestgirl Posted June 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Well, yes, some restaurants are closed on Mondays. For romantic dinners open on Monday night: Cafe Amapola is open on Monday night- if you can get there for the sunset it is lovely, ocean view. 311 is French food, very nice. Barrachina's is ok- lots of people like it, not one of my favorites. Italian- Il Perugino There will be lots of other places open on Monday nights, don't worry!
