lgdavies Posted June 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2008 We're thinking about booking a cabin on the May 16 09 Rotterdam Repositioning cruise. We've never done a transatlantic cruise and are wondering if the least expensive Outside (Cat H) which is in the bow section might be a risky choice if the seas get rough...looking for any advice you can give...thanks for responding. TicTac#2 Posted July 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Trans Atlantic cruises early in the Season (very late march to mid april) can bring on some seas, this is very true is the route is the "great circle" vs. the more southerly route. For me, a few extra dollars to get closer to mid- ships would be well worth it. In 20' seas, midship cabins do not pitch very much but cabins forward will. Enjoy your cruise!
