CRUZFINDER Posted July 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2008 We are booked on the Carnival Valor August 17 and it will be our first time leaving out of Miami. I've checked out the port's web site but still have a few questions so I turn to the experts here...especially those who have cruised on the Valor. Which pier/terminal does Valor dock at? Which parking area do you park in that particular pier/terminal? Is that parking area an open lot or a multi-story parking garage? And finally does that parking area accept credit cards or is it cash or traveler's checks only? Thank you very much for your help.
floridacruiser63 Posted July 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2008 As soon as you cross the bridge and enter the Port of Miami, you will see large signs announcing the different ships and piers. Carnival has a brand new state of the art terminal building, where you will be checking in on your way to the ship, there is no way you can miss it, it will be on your left hand side, after you drive in to the Port of Miami. Usually you will see The Royal Caribbean ships first and then the different Carnival ships on port.

Robert6260 Posted July 11, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Last year parking at the Port of Miami was cash only, payable as you drive into the parking garage. It was $105.00 for a seven day cruise on the Carnival Valor.
Bequia Posted July 11, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Last year parking at the Port of Miami was cash only, payable as you drive into the parking garage. Currently garages C, G, and J accept either cash, credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express only), or US Travelers checks. Lot #2 is currently cash and US Travelers Checks. Long-term parking for a regular vehicle occupying a single space is $20 per day
