We were on this ship a few years ago around the horn of S. America. At that time there was a serious sewage problem & it was an unbearable stench covering a lot of floors & cabins. Has anyone been on it lately, is it still going on? It is a beautiful ship otherwise, and we would like to book again in Oct on the Hawaii trip. Thanks.

I sailed on Millenium on a 11-day Alaska itinerary in May and didn't notice any unpleasant odors. She's in great shape with a wonderful crew.

Thank-you. Just wanted to be sure before heading out on the Pacific. The booking agent at Celebrity said it was no longer a problem, but I feel better hearing from someone who was on it. Regards!

Was on Millennium last November, had heard previously about the smell, but there was nothing at all. All smelt fresh and everywhere was sparkling clean.

We sailed her in March and all was good. DH has a very sensitive nose and didn't complain about any smells. :)

We were on her in April, on her next to last cruise from Lauderdale; and, everything was fine. We are sorry she left Lauderdale.

Just got off Millie a couple of weeks ago, and it was fine. Yes, there are some signs of wear on the carpets, etc., but all of us thought the ship was clean and beautiful, and the crew was fabulous.

I was on Millennium in Alaska the week of June 27. There was a minor smell in our bathroom when we boarded, but that was corrected within a day.

 

Millennium has age, but remains a beautiful ship.
