paradise08 Posted July 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Okay, I'm curious what cruise ship has this type of water slide? Anyone know? I found this on www.cruisedeckplans.com and it peaked my interest.
crusinmama06 Posted July 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2008 That's one I've never seen before. Hmmmm Don't know but I will be really interested in finding out. I think we can rule out Disney, RCCL and Carnival though.
LAKaye Posted July 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Where on that website did you find this photo? It is very interesting in that there are very few people out on that deck, so it must be a smallish ship. The layout is asymmetrical, with the hot tub on the port side and the ?little pool? on the starboard side. I hope someone recognizes it! Leslie The picture is from cruisedeckplans.com and its the first picture (called Intro4) when you first click on the site. If you don't see the picture the first time, click it at least 4 more times until it cycles around again. But they don't list where its from.
cruisindoggie Posted July 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2008 My guess is AIDA from Eorupe.
crusinmama06 Posted July 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2008 My guess is AIDA from Eorupe. That's a possibility - it looks like their style after looking up some of the deck plans. I couldn't read the German though.
cruisindoggie Posted July 25, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2008 If I remember correctly, we were docked next to an AIDA ship in St.Lucia a few years ago and I think it is reminisence of thier style.
FitzLA Posted July 25, 2008 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2008 It's a rendering. None of the people are real. Maybe it doesn't exist yet

cruisindoggie Posted July 25, 2008 #11 Share Posted July 25, 2008 It could not be Oasis, the aft area on Oasis is Aqua Theater and this ship is rather small.

CruznTom Posted July 25, 2008 #13 Share Posted July 25, 2008 I don't have a photobucket account so I can't access it, but the album http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l272/dnylund might have a clue.
FL_Cruiser64 Posted July 25, 2008 #14 Share Posted July 25, 2008 It could not be Oasis, the aft area on Oasis is Aqua Theater and this ship is rather small. After stretching the CP rendering maybe that is the real Aquatheater. :D

Joanne G. Posted July 25, 2008 #16 Share Posted July 25, 2008 That's the kid's pool area on NCL's Norwegian Spirit. It's currently sailing 6 and 8 day cruises from New York. Last winter it sailed out of New Orleans. Not sure where it's going this winter. We were on it in May, and had a great time. kaseyoz Posted July 25, 2008 #18 Share Posted July 25, 2008 That look slike a really nice pool for the kids. It almost looks like they could stand on top of the slide and jump off over the side of the ship. I am sure they cant though!!!!
