RIO hotels -- which Sheraton

Saw some messages that gave bad reviews of a Rio Sheraton. The question is WHICH Sheraton. There are 2( Sheraton Rio Hotel and Towers -- 600 rooms & Sheraton Barra Hotel and Suites - 292 rooms) I'd like to know if both are "bad"?. We are there for 2 days (1 night), at the end of our trip.

The reviews related to the Sheraton Hotel & Towers. Some claim that the hotel is isolated and abuts to a bad area. The individual who's going to lead us around Rio recommended the Marina Palace Hotel which is across from the beach in Leblon. We'll find out for sure December 11th.
