Quickest way to get off ship?

What's the quickest way to get off ship in Grand Turk? We are wanting to rent the golf carts and want to make sure we are one the first ones off so we can get one. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Nothing really. Just get down to the deck so you will get a good place in line to get off. There are no tenders here so it is first come first off. The walk from the ship up to the cruise center is not very far so you can make it in a couple of mins. at most.

LOL!! I don't think I want a golf cart that bad! I think I'll just stick with what the OP said and try to get down there first thing in the morning.

We went to deck 1 forward, and waited by the stairs. They will tell you to leave and wait for the announcement, but we just went up a level and waited for the person "guarding" the stairs to wave us through. We were one of the first off.

Better check to see if there is another ship in port, though, cause that will make a big difference in whether you get a cart.

I don't know if this is normal ... but in July we were there for only four hours on the Caribbean Princess. We waited about 20 minutes, until the crowds were gone, before we got off. Then, we hung around the pool for about an hour and had a drink. We then got a cab to go off in search of some Cuban cigars, and, when we were pulling out of the cruise terminal I noticed (and was surprised) that there were still carts available. We were the only ship in port.
