Travel from Miami lodging to port?

How do people do this typically? We'll be staying at a timeshare over there in South Beach, and wanted to start planning on getting from Point A to Point B.

Take a cab. Prices are pretty standard and based on zones. Back in October it was $15-20 from port to SB. Not sure what the price of fuel may have done to the cost.

A taxi is the best. From South Beach to the port is not far so the cab fare is not to bad.

It depends on how many days you will be here for.

 

If it is more than a day or two, your best bet would be to rent a car and return it they day you sail.

we're going next week.. I called our hotel Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront & asked them about how much to expect taxi to run & was told about $10.00 .. guess our hotel is only about 3 miles from the port

We stayed there post cruise a year or so ago. It cost more than that, and gas was cheaper. Depends on traffic too.

Reting a car is a bad idea if you are stying in South Beach. One, you don't need a car, you can walk or take a taxi most places. Two, it will cost $20 to $30 a day to park in South Beach.
