Carnival Spirit 9 Day Mexican Riviera/10/18/08

If any one has been on the Spirit to the Mexican Riviera can you please let me know how many formal nights there are and are the 50's and western nights still going on?

We've been several times. There should be two formal nights. I don't recall any theme nights recently - if there were - we missed them! ;)

 

We were booked on the same trip you're going on and just canceled. We love the Spirit, but switched to a 15 Hawaii on the Mercury. 15 days beats 9 for us!

I went on the 8 day version of this in Dec 07 and am planning on the same 8 day version in Dec 08. There were 2 formal nights. No 50's and no western night.

Yep, 2 nights. First sea day on the way down, and first sea day on the trip home (if I remember right) No themes that I know of, but you can tell me, cuz when your going down the gang plank, I will be going up! I'll high five ya!

I was looking at pictures of the Mexican Spirit cruises on web-shots.

Guests seemed to be wearing western hats and boots and were line dancing.

Others had on poodle skirts and pig-tails and were doing the jive.

 

I had these theme nights on RCCL and NCL.

Please come join our Roll Call....there are several of us going on this cruise. I have been on 2 Spirit 8 nights and there were no theme nights.
