aft cabin in Solstice

Can anyone tell me if 1405 Aft in the Solstice is a good cabin? I usually book in the middle but have heard that staying in an Aft you have a great view, etc. Thanks

It looks like a great aft cabin. It is located between two decks with cabins above and below so it should be quiet. Aft cabins give a lovely view of the wake of the ship and both sides.

The Solstice hasn't sailed, so no one has actually stayed in the cabin yet. Once they do, I'm sure that we will learn more about the cabins on board.

It has been over a year since this thread started so maybe someone can now add personal info. It looks like the aft cabins have little or no cover from either rain or sun. Can anyone add their insight into this.

I believe all balconies are covered by the deck above...perhaps the aft balconies may only have 1/2 covered, due to the "stair-step" effect of the decks....

Thanks. I can only go by what pictures I can find on webshots ect. From what I can see there is no shade or shelter from above. Hoping someone can confirm that or correct me. The side balconies don't look much better but they do seem to have some cover from above.
